Process
Research & Analysis:
I conducted user interviews, sided by a manager, to gather business requirements, understand user profiles, usability issues and clarify business rules about the data. Then analyzed the native dashboard provided by the client and dived on desk research to understand industry trends. This comprehensive analysis helped identify key user needs and pain points.

Discovery & Define:
Created user personas with user stories to map the user journey and better understand the targeted experience. I also benchmarked other portals that display similar data, which helped create the structure and organization of the portal. Using this research, I restructured the navigation and content layout to prioritize features and make information more accessible and easier to digest.
Wireframing & Prototyping:
Designed low-fidelity wireframes to visualize the new layout and navigation flow. These wireframes were iteratively refined during feedback sessions in weekly meetings, ensuring alignment with stakeholders’ expectations.
Visual Design & Style Guide:
Developed a cohesive visual language for the portal, emphasizing a modern, dark mode aesthetic with a clean, minimalistic design to facilitate data reading. Typography, iconography, and color schemes were carefully selected to enhance clarity and visual appeal.

Conclusion
This was my first solo project leading dataviz dashboards. I had some hard time trying to learn and absorve this new huuuge universe. Thankfully, I had a great team by my side that was always there everytime I needed any help.
The improved UX/UI redesign successfully addressed the user needs, resulting in a more intuitive and user-friendly experience, also increasing user satisfaction and retention. This wouldn't be possible without a great team of developers who were always side-by-side to deliver an excellent design experience for stakeholders.
